Detail Technician

            FLSA STATUS:  Nonexempt                                  PREPARED:  03.05.2019



Performs thorough cleaningand basic inspections and repairs to company-owned tractors and vehicles.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Washes, vacuums,shampoos, disinfects, and details the interior and exterior of tractors andcompany vehicles.

  • Performs basiccosmetic or mechanical repairs to equipment as directed.

  • Maintainsinventory of cleaning supplies and tools used for detailing.

  • Visually inspectsequipment for defects and routes in for proper repairs and preventativemaintenance services.

  • Watches forirregularities to equipment or grounds and reports concerns to the appropriateparties.

  • Performs variousjanitorial and ground maintenance duties as needed.

  •  Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.

  • Receives and carries out instructions.

  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.



  • Communicates effectively.
  • Exhibits ability to read, write, talk, and hear; add, subtract, multiply, and divide; and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Uses computers and software programs proficiently.



High school diploma orgeneral education degree (GED); or one to three months related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Valid driver’s license

Forklift Certification asrequired by supervisor



Safety shoes (steel toe orcomposite) required



The nature ofthe environment is one in which the employee may come in contact with outsideweather conditions, vibration, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborneparticles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or extreme heat andexcessive noise levels.
